THE NEWCASTLE WITCHERY TOUR IN NEWCASTLE - PRIVATE TOUR ONLY
The Newcastle Witchery Tour is the only tour of its kind in the UK dedicated to folk witchcraft and the Newcastle Witch Trials of 1649 and 1650 that seen 30 accused, 27 dead with 14 hung at the gallows. See the witches prison, walk were the witches were walked through the town, see the court house and the supposed home of the only male witch accused of witchcraft. Our witch will show you tools of the trade, that of the blackthorn blasting cane, you will see divination with spirit at the crossroads, learn of the witches devil and how traditional witches work with the old one. This tour is steeped in folklore of the old cunning folk of Britain.

Step into the path of the folk witch, the kind you read about as a child in old folklore, cauldrons, familiar spirits, curses and more. This tour is led by a traditional folk witch who walks the crooked path. This kind of witchcraft is not wiccan or pagan but that of the folk witches of England and may seem shocking to some. Your guide will have real working tools with him and he will have real witchcraft items like cursing dolls, baneful herbs and curios.

I actually heard footsteps walk towards me in the darkness but we were all stood still, as they got closer I seen a black shadow man vanish in front of us all then we heard a snarling growl sound and at the same time the ghost device started making noise. Dave was fantastic at keeping the crowd calm and as he did we then witnessed a can get kicked about 10ft in the archway. I really enjoyed this tour and I can't wait to book another. If you’re a paranormal fan, then you’ll definitely geek out at the sheer amount of activity you’ll experience that includes smells, sights, and sounds.
